NFC Stuttgart was registered in 2024. The general assembly of 3rd June , 2024 constituting 8 founding members (Agam Rai, Aman Dulal, Bhupal Aryal, Dr. Pawan Kumar Thapa, Lokendra Samba, Raman Paneru, Surendra Vishwakarma, and Asst. Arzt Suraj Lal Pradhan) voted for the Board member and additional Auditors. As per the constitution of NFC Stuttgart there can be 3 to 5 Board members. As of now, there are 3 Board Members and 2 Auditors to ensure financial transparency.
President (Vorstandsvorsitzende)
Dr. Pawan Kumar Thapa is an engineer by profession and a gold medalist from Birla Institute of Technology (1999) in India under Colombo Plan and Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus (2004) respectively. He has also served as Vice-Principal of Kathmandu Engineering Campus for almost six years until 2005. He has been awarded with all categories (Ga, Kha & Ka) of Mahendra Vidhya Bhusan (now Nepal Vidhya Bhusan) for being university topper and gold medalist in bachelor, masters and for completing PhD respectively.
He has been in Germany for the last 2 decades. He came to Germany for a PhD with DAAD Scholarship. He completed his Phd from Uni Stuttgart in 2009. He works as a Project Engineer, Hydrologist, and GIS Expert in his Hydropower department.
Football is his passion and has been leading NFC Stuttgart since the days of its inception.
Vice – President (Stellvertretende Vorstandsvorsitzende)
Raman Paneru is a Software Engineer by profession and a DAAD Prize winner from Hochschule Furtwangen University (2014). He completed his M.Sc. in Political Economics from the University of Freiburg(2020). He is also a college topper of Proficiency Certificate Level (equivalent to +2) from Kailali Multiple Campus(2006). He later started his career in IT as a Queer Entrant. He also worked in private schools in Nepal for over 7 years and writes columns in newspapers in Nepal as a freelancer.
He has been in Germany for more than a decade. He works as an ETL developer.
Football, for him, is a medium to connect with people and a way to build community. He has been involved in NFC Stuttgart since the very first day of the club. He wrote constitution of NFC Stuttgart and lead the club registration process. He is also the manager of the club.
Treasurer (Finanzchef – Vorstand)
Lokendra Samba is an Embedded Software Engineer with an M.Sc. in Information and Elektrotechnik from RPTU Kaiserslautern (2017). He has been working as a Research and Development Engineer for the last 7 years.
He has been in Germany for the last 17 years. He came as a student at Hochschule Mannheim.
Football for him is not just a game but a passion. He has been involved with NFC Stuttgart since its early days. He standardized financial bookkeeping and merchandise purchases for the club and also plays actively in tournaments as a central back.
Audit (Kassenpruefer)
Surendra Vishwkarma has been part of the club since its earliest days. He works as a Team Lead in Purchasing at Bosch, with extensive experience in software engineering, complex technology development, and leading cross-functional teams.
He is also actively involved in social initiatives, leading projects with NGOs to make a positive community impact. For Surendra, the club is about building connections, fostering teamwork, motivating others, and creating a true sense of belonging.
Assistant Audit (Ersatz Kassenpruefer)
Dr. Med. Suraj Lal Pradhan is a neurologist by profession. He studied Humanmedizin at the University of Leipzig.
He has been in Germany for over a decade. He mostly lived in Leipzig and joined NFC Stuttgart in its early days. He was among the members of NFC Stuttgart who added effort to get it registered as a Verein.
Football for him is a passion. He loves playing football and also believes in charity. He has been a great asset to NFC Stuttgart.
Management Team
NFC Stuttgart being a non-profit organization with aim to foster community building among Nepalese living in and around of stuttgart, organizes several cultural and sports events. To make sure that the organizations are smooth well organized, we have following members in our management team.
Event Manager
Agam Rai is a musician and hobby photographer. He is a health professional but is more active in music and photography.
He has been in Germany for more than a half a decade.
He joined NFC Stuttgart a couple of years ago and started cultural events with live music performances. The Dashain Event from 2023 became a milestone and paved NFC Stuttgart’s path to huge concerts in 2024, like Cobweb in Stuttgart and 1974 AD in Stuttgart.
He also takes almost all the good photos for NFC Stuttgart. He actively manages the social media platforms and is involved in media and marketing for the events organized by NFC Stuttgart. He has been a great asset to the team.
Coach
Bhupal Aryal, widely known as Anupam Aryal, is professionally involved in Hospitality Management and is current coach of NFC Stuttgart. He succeeded Binay Timilsina from the very second Tournament of NFC Stuttgart in Goettingen.
He has been in Germany for a decade and is very active in social work and community building.
As a coach, he took NFC Stuttgart from a team that could never cross group stage to one of the Top 4 Teams of Germany. He is actively involved in strategy building and player scouting for the club. He has been a blessing for NFC Stuttgart.
Assistant Coach
Dilip Pokhrel is a health professional and a music enthusiast. He succeeded Aman Dulal as an Assistant Coach.
He has been in Germany for last 5 years and is very active in charity works.
Along with Football he is also into music and is bassist of 8586 Band that started from Cobweb in Stuttgart Concert.
Ladies Team Manager
Manisha Khatri is an IT Professional and part of the NFC Stuttgart Ladies Team.
She has been in Germany for last few years and is working as an IT Professional in Application Development.
She is a defender of NFC Stuttgart ladies team and also loves dancing.
